AIS Education Dashboard Guide

There are two broad categories of reports available to you in the AIS learning environment:

  1. The reports in AIS Central are used to display detailed information about users and their evaluation results.  These reports are targeted at helping you manage the day to day learning progress at your facility or organization.  Consult the AIS Central Reports Guide for more information about this feature.  Data in AIS Central reports is live data which reflects the exact information in the system at the moment.
  2. The reports found in the AIS Dashboard contain anonymous aggregated information that helps you examine larger trends about education in your facilities.  These reports do not have any information about specific users.  Data in AIS Dashboard is compiled every Monday, so you will always see data that is current as of the end of the previous week.  It is not live data like you will see in AIS Central reports.

Accessing Dashboard Reports

To use AIS Dashboard Reports, your user account must be set up with the account type of ‘Educator’ or ‘Reporting Account’.   As well, your AIS Central account must be linked to the Regions and Locations (facilities or offices within your organization) for which you are authorized to run reports and view data.  This setup needs to be completed by your Help Desk or by the AIS support team.

If your account is configured to access the Education Dashboard, you can access it from AIS Central by opening the ‘Reports’ tab.

The Education Dashboard button is located in the top left corner of the Reports page.

What Can I Report On?

The AIS Dashboard reports allow you to analyze information and trends based on locations and evaluations, but these reports do not contain any information that is linked to a specific user.  The reports allow you to answer questions like:

  • Are there specific areas of knowledge that require additional training?
  • Are certain facilities showing more competency issues than others?
  • Which questions are answered incorrectly most frequently?
  • How frequently are the e-training tools being used across facilities?
  • What are the average evaluation results at each facility?
  • How many attempts are made to pass an evaluation at each facility?
  • How are facilities progressing towards completing their curriculum?

Reports in the Education Dashboard are presented in graph or table form.  The report output is interactive.

You can click on the reports to ‘zoom in’ on data and see more details.
