CMAC Certificate

Following successful completion of the CMAC certification program, learners will have the option of printing a high resolution, rich color CMAC certificate testifying that the learner has successfully completed all certification requirements and is designated as a “Certified MDS Assessment Coordinator”.  A professionally printed, frameable certificate is available on the AIS online store for an additional charge.

Other CMAC Benefits

In addition, CMAC certification holders can send others a website link which will provide proof of their CMAC certification in good standing.

The “CMAC” designation after the learner’s name in email signatures, résumés, and business cards may be used to signify completion of the CMAC certification program (Jane Doe, CMAC). Learners may continue to use this designation so long as their CMAC certification is maintained in good standing.

Certification Appeals

A learner who does not agree with the results of an exam or the certification program may appeal the results, in writing, within 30 days of completing an exam. To make an appeal, a learner must submit payment of a $50 appeal fee (available from the CMAC Certification page in AIS Central).  After receiving payment the learner will receive instructions for how to submit the appeal.  A verbal or emailed appeal will not be accepted.

The Certification Advisory Board will review the appeal within 90 days from receipt of the appeal notice. The decision of the Certification Advisory Board will be binding. If the appeal is successful the appeal fee will be refunded.
