If you need to update any other basic information about a user, you will do this in the same window used to reset passwords.  Follow the steps in Finding User Account Names  to locate a user’s account.  Click the name of the user (bolded blue text) to edit their details in the “Edit User Info” window.  Here, you can edit a variety of information, but the fields of most interest are:

  • name
  • password
  • email address
  • role
  • account type

 

Edit whatever is required on this window and be sure to click the “Save” button at the very bottom of the page.  You may need to scroll down to make this button visible.  Note that learners can also edit some of their own user information when they are logged into AIS Central by clicking the ‘Profile’ link in the top right corner of the screen.
